Composition 466: Sycamore, Tigerwood + Olivewood Compact Prep + Travel Board

Three distinctive woods in a small board designed for a specific job.

I made these smaller boards for the jobs that don't need a lot of real estate—chopping garlic and onions, quick kitchen prep, or taking a real wood cutting board with you when you travel.

This one combines Sycamore, Tigerwood and Olivewood in a clean rectangular composition. The lighter Sycamore gives the more pronounced color and grain of the Tigerwood and Olivewood room to stand out, while the simple shape keeps the board practical.

A circular handle hole makes it easy to grab or hang, and at just 11.75 x 5.75 inches and 1.1 pounds, it doesn't take up much room in a kitchen—or in a travel bag.

Care

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and allow the board to dry completely before storing.

A small tin of our Chefdude Board Butter is included with every board. Apply periodically to help condition and maintain the wood.
