Curly Spalted Maple Live-Edge Cheese Board

This small cheese board has a lot of chatoyancy, with curling in the Maple that catches and reflects the light differently depending on the angle.

That shifting figure runs alongside the natural spalting in the wood, giving you two kinds of character in the same board. The darker lines and color variations of the spalting remain visible across the surface, while the curl seems to move as the light changes.

Frank kept one natural live edge intact and shaped a handle into the top of the board. The handle is slightly different from others in this collection, giving this piece its own silhouette while keeping the overall design simple.

At 16.25" x 6.75" overall, it's a narrower serving board that's well suited for cheese, fruit, bread, appetizers, or a small charcuterie spread.

Care

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and allow the board to dry completely before storing. Periodic conditioning with a food-safe board oil will help maintain the wood.
