This Oregon Black Walnut board has a bell-jar silhouette—a broad body that curves toward a narrower top—with a flat bottom that allows the board to stand upright on the counter when it's not being used.

At 1.5 inches thick, it has the substance of a serious working board, but the unusual shape gives it a sculptural quality too. Use it for cutting and prep, bring it to the table for serving, then stand it back up when you're finished.

Care

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and allow the board to dry completely before storing.
