Oregon Black Walnut Serving Board with Curved Handle

A striking white streak runs through this Oregon Black Walnut board and continues right up into the curved handle.

Made from a single piece of Oregon Black Walnut, this serving board doesn't rely on multiple woods for contrast. Everything happening across its surface comes from the natural variation within one piece of Walnut.

The darker brown grain is interrupted by a distinctive white streak that travels lengthwise through the board and into the handle, creating a natural line that immediately draws your eye through the piece.

Look closer and there's even more happening in the figure, including areas with burl-like markings that add smaller patterns and movement within the grain.

Frank shaped the top into a curved handle, allowing that natural white streak to continue into the handle rather than cutting the most interesting part of the wood away.

At 17.75" x 6", it's a long, narrow serving board well suited for cheese, bread, fruit, appetizers, or a charcuterie arrangement.

Care

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and allow the board to dry completely before storing. Periodic conditioning with a food-safe board oil will help maintain the wood.
