Reclaimed Wine Barrel Serving Board – Quarter-Sawn White Oak

A wine barrel in its first life. A Chefdude Board in its next.

This one-of-a-kind board began as part of a wine barrel before being reclaimed and handcrafted into a piece made for the kitchen and table.

Made from quarter-sawn white oak, the board still carries subtle residual wine staining from its previous life. We didn't try to erase that history. The variations in color and markings are part of what makes this particular board what it is—and something new lumber simply can't replicate.

At 17.5" x 12.75", there's plenty of surface for cheeses, charcuterie, bread, appetizers, or serving straight to the table. The integrated handle makes it easy to carry and gives the board a distinctive silhouette when it's left out on display.

Care

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and allow the board to dry completely before storing. Periodic conditioning with a food-safe board oil will help maintain the wood.
