Spalted Maple Mini Live-Edge Serving Board

Curling, spalting, and a live edge—all packed into one small piece of Maple.

This Mini serving board may be compact, but the Spalted Maple has movement running nearly the entire length of the board.

Curling in the grain catches the light while the darker lines and color variation created by the spalting travel through the wood. The two effects work together: one becomes more apparent as the light changes, while the other creates visible lines and pattern across the surface.

Frank kept one natural live edge intact, giving the board an organic line along one side. The opposite elements are more deliberate—a rounded top finished with a simple circular hole.

At 13.25" x 7.5", it's an easy small serving board for cheese, fruit, bread, appetizers, or a compact charcuterie spread.

Care

Hand wash only with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry promptly and allow the board to dry completely before storing. Periodic conditioning with a food-safe board oil will help maintain the wood.
